About the Role

As a

Manufacturing Engineer - Injection Moulding Specialist

, you will be at the forefront of developing, optimising, and implementing high-performance manufacturing processes. From introducing new equipment and technologies to refining existing systems, your work will directly impact product quality, efficiency, and scalability.

What You'll Do

Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing projects with a focus on

injection moulding

. Evaluate and introduce new manufacturing capabilities including

tooling design

,

automation

, and

equipment selection

. Collaborate with

R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain

to ensure smooth transitions from development to production. Drive

continuous improvement

initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Create and maintain detailed documentation including

PFMEAs

,

work instructions

,

SOPs

, and

validation reports

. Use root cause analysis to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective actions. Monitor key performance indicators and drive process improvements based on data.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

,

Manufacturing Engineering

, or related field - or an indentured apprenticeship background. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with

strong emphasis on injection moulding

. Proven experience in

tooling design

,

moulding parameters

, and

materials

. Knowledge of

Lean Manufacturing

,

Six Sigma

, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in

CAD software

and/or

manufacturing simulation tools

is a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and

project management skills

.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
