Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Inpatient Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B Prison located in London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, West London.
The Inpatient unit provides 24-hour care to patients with mixture of mental and physical health needs.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 16:30
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 53,172 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As an Inpatient Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.

Lead the development of individualised patients care plans, whilst collaboratively working alongside the inpatient team and championing clinical excellence.
Support patients on a daily basis to achieve their activities of daily living to ensure they have the best quality of life possible, ensuring collaborative delivery.
Ensure quality care planning and continuity of care is achieved through improving relationships and communication with partners and other services. * Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework

Requirements

• NMC registered nurse - Adult
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development
• Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
