Premier Paper Group, one of the UK and Irelands leading Paper and Materials Merchants, are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Executive. The role would suit somebody who has experience of working in a sales office environment, or in a customer service type role, or somebody who is looking for a career in an innovative forward-looking industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day to day office support in a busy and challenging sales environment.
The ideal applicant will have:
Primary contact point for customers and will give pro-active support to the field sales team in developing sales.
The role will be answering calls; issuing quotations and samples; order processing and tracking; query and complaints handling. While customer service is paramount this is primarily a sales role.
Experience of working for a paper merchant, stationary supplier, Sign & Display Supplier, or in tele-sales role (while not essential would be preferred)
The ability to develop strong product knowledge
Previous pro-active sales experience
Good attention to detail and good administration skills
Competitive salary + commission scheme
25 days holiday per annum, increasing to 30 days with service + bank holidays
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, or Part Time - Hours to be agreed.
The ability to work on your own initiative and within a sales team structure
An understanding of the importance of good customer service
Excellent communication skills including a friendly telephone manner.
A flexible and motivated approach, with an enthusiastic and proactive outlook
Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Provide feedback on customer trends and competitor activity.
Good computer skills are essential
