Job Description


Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Insight Analyst to join our Vehicle Remarketing Department (VRM) on a full-time, permanent basis.

This exciting role will give you the opportunity to work with Data Scientists and Pricing Analysts to identify and trial pricing initiatives aimed to optimise the remarketing journey for 225k ex-lease vehicles sold back into the used car market every year.

Reporting into the Pricing Manager. While based in our Bristol offices, the role is a combination of office and remote working.

Key Accountabilities

  • Becoming a subject matter expert in all aspects of Vehicle Remarketing, understanding all of the remarketing processes and the key dynamics that drive remarketing decisions
  • Taking full ownership of trials and initiatives that will add value and improve current sales channels mechanisms
  • Ensuring a data led approach to trials and initiatives, working closely with Data Scientists to demonstrate value
  • Planning meticulously to ensure trials are prioritised and organised effectively
  • Building strong working relationships across various teams within the business and managing expectations of key stakeholders

Minimum criteria:
  • Experience of carrying out and measuring the impact of trials
  • Ability to make recommendations and hold debates on decisions with key stakeholders
  • Experience of analysing data and providing insight
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and are comfortable in dealing with people of all levels of seniority
  • Self-starter with initiative and enthusiasm
  • Highly organised, with ability to work unsupervised while managing your workload efficiently and pro-actively
  • Experience of delivering results in a pressurised environment
  • Highly customer focused with ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to delegate work effectively
