What You'll Do:




As an Insights and Analytics Manager at AstraZeneca, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business performance through strategic insights and robust analysis. This role focuses on strategic financial planning and improving operational efficiency through optimising processes, as well as delivering high-quality analytics. You'll be at the forefront of data-driven insight generation, automation, financial forecasting, market research, collaboration, and compliance, all contributing to our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Planning & Financial Forecasting:



Provide detailed indication demand forecasts based on epidemiology, applying automated processes and a variety of market datasets to support strategic and financial planning for UK Oncology.

Process Optimization & Automation:



Co-lead with the BI Lead to develop data automation solutions and optimise processes for streamlined workflows, improved data quality, and faster business insights. Continuously find opportunities for automation adoption across analytics, reporting, and insight generation activities.

Insight Generation:



Analyse multiple data sets (patients, customers, NHS stakeholders, brands, markets, therapy areas), translating findings into clear, actionable insights that influence business decisions.

Market Research Implementation:



Build and implement high-quality market research, using automated tools when suitable to enhance business comprehension and guide brand strategy and operational plans.

Performance Analytics:



Provide performance analytics for priority indications, exploiting automation to identify data patterns, reveal brand opportunities, and articulate actionable recommendations.

Innovation:



Champion innovative ways in business insight generation, including adoption of novel automation technologies, advanced analytics techniques, and integration of new data sources.

Stakeholder Collaboration:



Collaborate closely with Local, Regional and Global collaborators to grasp key business issues, providing customised solutions that enable efficient decision-making.

Proactive Opportunity Identification:



Leverage automation to proactively address blind spots and unanswered business questions, delivering targeted insights to meet evolving needs.

Compliance:



Ensure all activities adhere to AstraZeneca SOPs and Code of Conduct.

Business Targets Contribution:



Contribute actively to the achievement of annual P&L, contribution, and sales targets, applying automation to support business success.

Essential Requirements:



Extensive experience in epidemiology based demand forecasting, analytical business insights functions, with a track record of process optimization & automation Deep understanding of NHS and pharmaceutical industry practices Ability to extract impactful insights efficiently from varied and complex data using automated solutions Strong background in engaging senior stakeholders within complex environments Self-motivated and resilient, with a proactive approach to process improvement

Desirable Requirements:



Expertise with Oncology therapy areas forecasting, especially Lung Cancer Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related area Sales & Marketing experience
