Job Role
Inertia Consulting are seeking to expand our Operations Team by recruiting Inspection and NDT Technician's in the Midlands and North West to support ongoing growth.
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team based at our Head Office in Derby or regional office in Knutsford and contribute to the delivery of bridge inspection and testing schemes. The successful candidate will be provided industry standard training to enable them to:
Operate Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPs)
Build and dismantle PASMA mobile scaffold towers
Provide confined space access support-High and medium risk levels
Provide rope access support in accordance with IRATA
Provide working at height rescue
. Build, launch, and dismantle pontoons
. Drive support power boats
. Support our Engineers when undertaking NDT works taking samples and collecting data
Adhere to all health & safety regulations and policies
In house training will be provided in NDT of highway structures and bridge inspection processes

Role Requirements
You will need to:
be able to work outdoors during normal daytime hours, unsociable night-time hours and occasional weekends
be comfortable with working at height and on or around water
be comfortable with travelling and staying away from home a moderate amount
be comfortable with long distance driving on occasion
be able to work on multiple projects that may involve differing operational requirements
have a reasonable standard of physical health and fitness
be comfortable operating power tools such as percussion drills.
have a basic knowledge of MS Office applications
Have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grade 4-9
hold a full UK car driving licence.
