Installations Coordinator (Roofing & Insulation Ops)
JOB PURPOSE / ROLE SUMMARY:
To ensure the seamless daily operation of roofing & insulation jobs by managing van crews, tools, and materials. This role is boots-on-the-ground, logistics-focused, and vital for making sure jobs get done properly, on time, and with zero excuses.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dispatch all 3 install vans daily with correct tools, stock & job details
Check, track & reorder materials/tools weekly (tiles, sealants, coatings, coatings, etc.)
Maintain and service tools regularly (e.g. sprayers, jet washers, drills)
Be the first point of contact for crew issues, kit failures or missing materials
Monitor & manage on-site efficiency: right van, right job, no waste
Implement and oversee a foolproof stock control system
Coordinate deliveries from suppliers - no last-minute "we forgot" situations
Check each van weekly for tidiness, kit readiness, and safety
Ensure all materials and tools are stored and secured properly
Communicate daily with ops manager and sales manager and escalate supply issues fast
Be the organiser that makes the team perform smoother and smarter
PAY RANGE:
Full-time: 24,000 - 26,500/year depending on experience
Van provided if travel between jobs/branches is required
IDEAL BACKGROUND:
Construction, roofing or insulation experience preferred
Excellent organisational skills - if you're chaotic, don't bother
Can run a checklist like a drill sergeant
Hands-on with tools, can jump in to troubleshoot
Confident dealing with installers and pushing them to stay on track
Comfortable using basic stock tracking software or spreadsheets
Doesn't need babysitting - gets it done

We handle roofing repairs, coatings, insulation jobs - the works. What we don't have time for is disorganisation. We need someone obsessed with systems, checklists, and making sure jobs get out the door with military precision.
Your Mission:
Make sure the right guys, with the right tools, and the right stock, hit the right site - every single day. Track stock. Order on time. Service tools. Keep the vans running like a Formula 1 pit crew.
You'll work closely with our ops and sales manager, get involved in job planning, and most importantly - be the reason our crews deliver 5-star work without chaos.
What You'll Need:
Previous experience in roofing, site management or construction logistics
A sixth sense for spotting when something's about to go wrong
Solid common sense and zero tolerance for slackers
Organised, driven, and not afraid to shout when things need sorting
Ability to interview candidates, hire and fire when required to build a strong pro-active team.
