Fernley transport Ltd are looking to expand our team of Installation Crew / van drivers. Van drivers must be a minimum of 25 years old due to insurance purposes and must be willing and able to be part of the installation team when arriving at the customers location to assist and be involved with the delivery and set up of the photocopier / Printer being delivered and installed . Good use of English is essential as you will be liaising with both IT support and the customer. Due to the nature of our work the ideal candidate will need to be able to lift heavy objects both alone and with help from a crew members. Onsite training on all aspects of delivery equipment will be provided. You will also be required to do occasional night away from base, hotels and food expenses paid. The area of deliveries will be UK and Europe occasionally.

Previous experience of photocopier handling would be a advantage but not essential as you will be trained on the movement and installation of a multitude of different equipment .

This is NOT a multi-drop job. All members of the installation crew are expected to be involved at the customers so this is not just a driving position we are posting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 11.57 per hour

Expected hours: 9.5 per day Mon- Fri 7.00am - 5.00pm Incl. 30 minutes lunch

Overtime paid outside of these hours

Skills

Proven experience as a Van Driver or in a similar driving role. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers. Punctuality & Time Keeping Reliable & Trustworthy Presentable.
