Installation Electrician

Location:

Offices based in Sidcup, London
(Can you commute to our Sidcup head office within 30 minutes daily?)

Central London and the South East

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

40,000-50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working hours:

8am-4pm on site.

IDWe Ltd's well-established Electrical Services department is looking for a permanent, full-time, experienced Installation Electrician to join our team.

Due to business growth and a continued commitment to client support, we're seeking a candidate with at least

5 years' experience

to work alongside our existing team.

This role involves working across a wide range of commercial and industrial properties, both independently and alongside our existing team.

Key Responsibilities

Fault finding Surveys of existing installations and report on work required Undertake electrical works on existing installations Installation of various new electrical equipment, distribution equipment, final circuits and lighting Undertake electrical maintenance Work with other trades to support installation works.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced installation electrician with the following:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical installation/maintenance Thorough knowledge and practical experience of LV electrical distribution systems, Switchgear, Control Panels and equipment within commercial properties Experience of Installation of containment i.e. metal conduit, trunking and Cable Tray Experience of Installation and termination of all cable types Practical experience of all aspects of Building Services and ability to troubleshoot problems with ease The ability to test your own works and record results to BS7671:2018 and use NICEIC Clik software, although training will be provided.

Qualifications

In addition to the above, the below is also required

A good understanding of electrical installations/Plant in Commercial buildings Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or C&G level 3 City and Guilds 2382 (18th Edition) CSCS/ECS Gold Card Full driving licence Eligible to work in the U.K.
