Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Installation Manager to oversee and coordinate installation projects across Heating, Ventilation, Solar PV/Battery and Air Source Heat Pumps.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in multiple trades, including Gas Heating, plumbing, electrical, Solar PV/Battery and Air Source Heat Pumps.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, technical expertise, and leadership qualities to manage complex installation processes effectively.

Duties



Lead and supervise installation teams across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Coordinate the scheduling of tasks, materials procurement, and resource allocation to optimise workflow efficiency. Oversee the preparation of site plans using on-line systems like EasyPV, Open Solar, Heat Punk, Spruce and technical drawings to guide installation procedures. Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. Adherence to the standards set out by MCS and NICEIC. Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of workmanship. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any issues promptly. Manage project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and compliance certificates. Provide technical guidance on the use of tools, equipment, and other specialised machinery. Train and mentor junior staff or apprentices to develop their skills in various trades. Using Job Management Software like ServiceM8 and maintaining/using the CRM are integral parts of daily life in a strive for operational efficiency.

Qualifications



Proven experience in heating, renewables and construction-related roles with a strong emphasis on multi-trade installations such as roofing, plumbing, electrical work, heating and renewables such as Solar PV, ESS and Air Source Heat Pumps. Extensive knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and fabrication techniques. Proficiency in using tools and power tools safely and effectively. Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in dynamic environments. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan projects meticulously from inception to completion. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and suppliers. Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are desirable but not essential; practical experience is paramount. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
