Installation Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Installation Manager to manage our UK-wide commercial secondary glazing installations. This role is ideal for someone from a construction or fenestration background who is just as comfortable managing teams as they are being on the tools when required.
Although the office base is in Dinnington, Sheffield, this role requires flexibility and regular travel across the UK, including overnight hotel stays.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing installation teams and subcontractors across multiple UK sites Attending site at short notice to resolve issues and support teams Checking quality of installation works and ensuring high standards Ensuring Health & Safety compliance on all sites Acting as the main point of contact for clients during installation Getting involved hands-on with installations when required Supporting recruitment, training, and 1-2-1s with installation staff Managing remote teams and driving performance
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing on-site teams within construction A qualified joiner, or someone with experience within the fenestration industry Experience working with subcontractors Strong technical understanding of fenestration/facades Commercial construction background Happy to be hands-on and work on the tools when needed Excellent customer service and communication skills Proactive, problem-solving attitude Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
Desirable (But Not Essential)
Experience with secondary glazing (training provided) SMSTS / SSSTS / CSCS
