Role Overview:

Charlotte James is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Installation Specialist

to join our team. This role is responsible for the professional delivery and installation of all Charlotte James products, with additional support provided for Emily James Cabinetry installations and deliveries. The successful candidate will possess strong joinery and finishing skills, allowing them to problem-solve on site and step into cabinet-making responsibilities when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Installation & Delivery:

Deliver and install Charlotte James furniture, including beds, headboards, and other assembled pieces. Support and back up cabinetry installations for Emily James. Facilitate deliveries for Emily James Cabinetry when required.

Customer Service & Quality Assurance:

Ensure installations meet the high quality and aesthetic standards of Charlotte James. Use appropriate protective measures when entering clients' homes. Report service issues or damages encountered during delivery or installation promptly.

Technical Expertise & Site Problem Solving:

Apply high-level joinery skills and understanding of finishing to carry out precision installations. Independently assess and resolve on-site issues using craftsmanship and technical judgment. Conduct access checks prior to delivery to ensure a smooth installation process.

Supplier & Logistics Support:

Facilitate supplier collections. Keep accurate documentation of deliveries, installations, and service reports.

Team Collaboration & Flexibility:

Provide cover and support for the Warehousing & Finishing team as required. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain workflow and service standards.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in joinery and fine furniture installation. Strong understanding of finishing techniques and materials. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently on site. High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items safely. Full UK driving licence preferred. Flexibility to support various teams and production roles as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
