Heartlands Metal Craft is a small business in Cradley Heath who manufacture, supply, and install automatic gates, railings, balconies and balustrades.

We are looking for a Site Skilled Installation Leader to lead installations, working closely with our Production Manager & Director with the following qualities and experience in:

Ground works/site works Digging, trenching, concreting setting posts etc Ability to read measurements and work to drawings for setting out General driving duties for deliveries and collections (most local) Assisting with work shop duties including cutting and drilling steel in between site work duties (downtime and bad weather) Ability to site weld (arc) Proficient in using angle grinders to grind and linish galvanised steelworks prior to powder coating Install various manufactured components and systems according to drawings and specifications (non automation) Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, build, and install structures Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise Ability to work away (overnight stay) on rare occasions

Minimum Requirements

Applicant must have relevant experience Reliable and punctual Professional work ethic due to customer facing Leadership qualities Drive for quality results and developing team members Excellent time keeping Ability to work quickly and to a schedule MUST Hold a valid UK driving licence
The ideal applicant will be polite, hard working with the willingness to work overtime when required, have a valid UK driver's licence, have a willingness to learn new skills and demonstrate enthusiasm; and be aware of H&S on site issues.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
