Installation Technician - Field-based (UK & International Travel)



Full Time, Permanent

Our Engineering Department designs, builds, installs, and commissions world-class Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and fixed gas detection solutions across the globe.


We're looking for a skilled and motivated Installation Technician to support the delivery of high-quality engineering projects from build through to installation and commissioning.


What You'll Do



Assemble and wire electrical control panels and systems to technical drawings. Install mains, LV, control, and communication wiring. Fit and integrate instrumentation, control equipment, and analyser housings. Carry out pneumatic layouts and installations. Complete QC testing and resolve any defects. Travel to client sites (Monday-Friday), with occasional workshop work as needed.

What We're Looking For



Experience in industrial installation, production, or manufacturing. NVQ, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control systems. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or sound knowledge). Pneumatic experience and valid driving licence. Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player with great attention to detail. Willing to mentor apprentices and contribute to a positive team culture.

Desirable:

IPAF, COMPEX, CCNSG qualifications.
