Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience. This role involves the installation and maintenance of various systems, including CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer networking systems and hardware. Utilise hand tools and power tools for installation tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret schematics and system designs to ensure accurate installations. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of installed systems, including CCTV and IDS. Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to telecommunication systems. Provide exceptional customer service during installations and address any client concerns promptly. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and electrical systems. Familiarity with CCTV systems, IDS, and telecommunication technologies is highly desirable. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to various job sites.
