Job Title: Installer Responder

Salary: 27,424.14

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work if required)

Location: Based in Chelmsford, Essex wide travel will be required.

Job Overview:

Carecall247, part of Provide CIC, is seeking a dedicated Installer Responder to join our team.

As a Installer Responder, you will be responsible for installing telecare devices and associated equipment into the homes of new/existing service users as well as when required answering calls in a busy Control Centre, providing emergency responses to service users requiring assistance or those who have experienced a fall. This role entails working largely on your own initiative, demonstrating empathy towards service users, and efficiently solving problems with minimal supervision.

Main Duties:

Installation, maintenance and removal of Telecare devices

Provide timely, effect response to alarm activations from service users

Attend marketing events throughout Essex

Answer, triage and escalate emergency calls using the call handling system

Knowledge of telecare devices would be beneficial.

Complete onward referrals to relevant health and social care services in consultation with service users.

Provide a responder service.

Requirements:

Strong IT skills with adaptability to new systems. Strong communication skills. Previous experience in a customer-facing role. Ability to live within the response area. Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to drive.
