We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Instructor to join our team.

We are a specialist college for students who have Individual communication needs including:
Deaf, deaf and individuals with hearing loss
Autistic Spectrum Conditions
Learning disabilities and difficulties
Our individualised learning programmes offer a unique approach to students who have specific language and communication needs. Each student has a bespoke timetable according to their needs and aspirations and may include; vocational courses, personal and social development and independent living skills.
The Instructor role is key to the engagement and retention of our students. Instructors will act a as deputy for tutors within the classrooms. They will be required to lead sessions and plan teaching and learning that fits within the outcomes of the students EHCP/ Individual learning goals and targets, individual aspirations, and transition to adulthood.
An ability to use British Sign language would be a distinct advantage, although support can be given to help you achieve this and work towards a Level 2 qualification. It is however important that you are able to demonstrate previous experience of planning, delivering, and monitoring learning in an SEN setting, including direction of support staff or have relevant experience.
