The Specific Nature of the Role
The post-holder will be responsible for delivering high quality outcomes associated with the training and assessment of learners and apprentices in the College's Skills Academy (mechanical/manufacturing Skills). The role will typically include instruction, demonstration, assessment, observation and recording work-based competencies and knowledge. The ideal candidates would have an automotive background and be able to safely and competently use a range of machine tools and equipment as would be found in repair garages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also important, and the post-holder is expected to work effectively both independently and as part of a team and embrace the College's RESPECT values.
