Sloane Private Clients is recruiting exclusively for an Insurance Administrator to manage insurance policies and claims, provides administrative support, ensure compliance with regulations, and acts as a liaison between clients, insurers, and internal teams. The role will be based onsite in Central London.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to insurance advisors / account handlers / brokers.
  • Manage documentation for policies: prepare and process insurance applications, renewals, amendments, mid-term adjustments, cancellations and endorsements.
  • Liaise with insurers, brokers, and clients via phone and e-mail to request quotes, confirm cover, and follow up on outstanding information.
  • Maintain accurate records and policy databases ensure all client and policy files are up-to-date, compliant, and properly filed (digital and/or physical).
  • Handle incoming customer queries (inbound/outbound) provide first-line support, answer policy questions, escalate complex issues where needed
  • Schedule and manage appointments, manage diaries/calendars for advisors/team members if required.
  • Support internal operations: data entry, reporting, correspondence, preparing documentation (policy certificates, renewals, notices), mailing / dispatch where required.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives suggest and implement improvements to administrative processes and workflows.
Essential Skills
  • Prior experience in an insurance, financial services, or customer-facing back-office environment is often preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory/ compliance aspects related to insurance administration
  • Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in an office environment
  • Good communication skills confident dealing with clients, insurers, brokers via phone and email
  • Attention to detail and accuracy especially when handling policy data, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Comfortable using office software (e.g. Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with databases/insurance-specific or broker-specific systems (where applicable)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed, reliability and commitment to high standards of client service
  • Willingness to support renewals cycles, mid-term adjustments, claims-related admin or assist in basic underwriting tasks depending on employer
  • Flexibility in working patterns (e.g. peak periods, workload surges).
Desirable / Optional
  • Experience working in a premium or luxury automotive sector (e.g., prestige dealerships, high-value vehicle insurance, or specialist motor services) is highly desirable.
