We're offering an exciting opportunity to join our Risk and Compliance team as an

Insurance and Claims Analyst

. Working closely with our Insurance Manager, you'll gain exposure to every aspect of our global insurance programme - from policy administration and broker engagement to claims management and reporting. Whether you're experienced in insurance or looking to build a career in the sector, you'll be supported to develop and make a real impact across our business.

Key Responsibilities



Insurance program administration:

Maintain policy schedules, coverage summaries, endorsements and track renewal timetables and deliverables Gather and prepare exposure data and submission materials (property values, fleet figures etc.) Maintain asset register and certificates of insurance Assist with monthly reporting on status of insurance program

Market engagement support:

Co-ordinate broker/insurer meetings Prepare any data required by shareholder under the group insurance covers

Claims & incident support:

Ensure robust record keeping of incidents and supporting evidence to maximise claims defensibility were appropriate Manage a case load of high frequency, low value claims such as motor fleet, ensuring they are processed efficiently and in accordance with claim handling protocols Provide support to the Insurance Manager in relation to high value or complex claims, including preparation of documents, evidence and witness statements for litigated cases Maintain register of claims and status of open items, as well as any potential recoveries Assist with identifying claim trends, risks and opportunities (areas of incident and claim prevention etc)

Training & Management of Change (MOC)

Assist with communication of scope/limitations of cover to the business Maintain quick reference guides for all areas of cover Support the insurance manager in Management of Change processes ensuring insurance requirements are tabled early in the process whether around cover or sign off on new business or construction activities

Governance and continuous improvement

Keep structured repositories for wordings, endorsements, certificates, claim files, invoices, rebates and recoveries. Suggest improvements to reporting, templates, automation to improve on how the insurance function supports the business. Communicate complex issues and findings to senior management and other stakeholders

Travel:

Travel infrequent but as needed to operational locations and offices.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Essential:

Knowledge of software such as Excel and Power BI Proficient in data analysis and interpretation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organised with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and deliver against strict deadlines Entrepreneurially minded with a focus on continuous improvement Able to thrive in an environment with high pace of change

Desirable:

French language skills Currently studying towards CII or a willingness to do so Experience of insurance programs preferably in a corporate environment
While previous insurance experience is desirable, we're also open to candidates looking to start their career in the insurance industry.
