Job Description

The Insurance and Risk Associate role supports asset and corporate operations by managing global insurance programmes and contributing to group-wide risk management. It works closely with project, asset and finance teams to protect value and support long-term returns across renewable energy assets.
The responsibilities of the Insurance and Risk Associate include:

  • Establishing, implementing and monitoring standardised insurance processes across the group
  • Procuring and managing corporate and asset insurance programmes globally
  • Managing relationships with insurance brokers and overseeing renewals
  • Reviewing contracts and policies to ensure insurance compliance and adequacy of cover
  • Preparing insurance documentation, trackers and management presentations
  • Handling insurance claims end-to-end
  • Supporting group-wide risk management, including maintaining risk registers and frameworks
  • Assisting with risk reporting to senior management and audit and risk committee

The successful Insurance and Risk Associate has:
  • A relevant qualification in insurance, accounting, audit or law
  • 3-5 years' experience in insurance placement, monitoring and claims handling, or risk management
  • Experience from the renewable energy or wider energy sector
  • A highly detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A desire for a fast-paced, international environment and handles confidential information with professionalism
