Job Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham / Hybrid




Salary: 24,000




Contract type: Permanent




Working hours: 37 hours per week. We would also consider part time.



About the role



Supporting our Insurance Officer, GSA requires an Insurance Assistant to help deliver an effective claims management and reporting process.


Insurance forms a prominent part of our Risk and Assurance function and the role will entail working with our customer facing and support teams, and our brokers, in investigating and progressing potential and live insurance claims and managing insurance risks.


The Insurance Assistant will support in the administration and monitoring of the Group`s portfolio of general insurance policies and ensure adequate cover is provided by liaising with internal client groups and identifying insurance risk areas within the business.


There will also be a need to support our annual insurance policy renewal cycle through data gathering - again working with many of our operational teams.


About you



You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build rapport, confidence and trust quickly with a wide range of colleague and external contacts.


You will be able to work effectively remotely but will also be able to work from our central Birmingham office and attend team meetings, estimated at around one day a week.
