To take full responsibility for achievement of specified business objectives by the successful completion of protection and general insurance, generated from the highest level of compliant service to clients, whilst positively embracing the FCA's "treating customers fairly" initiative. To identify the best products for our existing client bank, as well as new introduced customers, and tailor protection solutions accordingly. To service the client's needs thoroughly, and provide advice in a professional, compliant, and efficient manner, whilst achieving minimum standards of performance across all key areas expected of an adviser. Sales are telephone based, and a requirement to be flexible in the provision of appointments in the evening, and on Saturdays.
Main accountabilities:
- Responsibility for identifying clients' protection shortfall needs fully and to present relevant solutions.
- Responsibility for adherence to compliant process within all sales arenas. - Responsibility for carrying out remedial action on files in a timely manner.
- Building relationships with clients and business introducers and be capable of making a contribution towards personal sales targets.
- Responding promptly to, and with appropriate diligence in line with Company procedures, any complaint received.
- Adherence to all requirements as set out in the Network's Training & Development Manual, Sales Procedure Guide, AML guidance and other relevant manuals.
- Responsibility for maintaining and driving your Continuous Professional Development.
- To present a professional approach to a high standard of service quality and product knowledge, maintaining high standards of integrity, conduct and behaviour.
- To drive the business forward and respond positively to changes in business practices and objectives where necessary, from time to time.
- 5 day working week, including Saturdays.
- Working hours of 9-6, with the requirement of 2 evening appointments per week
- 4 week's holiday per annum, plus Bank Holidays
- Basic salary negotiable according to experience, with OTE of 50-60k, depending on performance.
Key Competencies and Expertise:
- 1 year experience within financial services (desirable).
- Product knowledge of Life Cover, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection (desirable).
- CeMAP qualification (or industry recognised equivalent - desirable)
- Team player, able to effectively interact with all departments.
- Ability to work well under pressure, and within tight deadlines.

Measures of Performance
:
- Achievement of minimum Key Performance Indicators in all aspects of written and banked business
- Achievement of minimum compliance standards as laid out by the Company, and it's regulators, and adherence to the principle of Treating Customers Fairly.
- Finalising cases and administrating paperwork within set deadlines
- Liaising with an excellent existing client bank, in placing and retaining remortgage and purchase business
