The Role
As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for advising clients on the best insurance products to meet their needs, managing renewals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with insurers and clients to deliver outstanding service and maintain long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert advice on insurance products and risk management.
Manage client portfolios including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims support.
Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers to ensure competitive pricing and comprehensive cover.
Ensure all activities meet FCA compliance and internal quality standards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and support.
Keep up to date with industry changes, products, and legislation.
About You
CII qualified
(minimum Cert CII; Dip CII or ACII advantageous).
Minimum of 5 years in a face to face broking role.
Strong understanding of insurance markets and products.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and a commitment to customer service.
Comfortable using broking and CRM systems.
