Role Summary:



We are seeking an

Insurance and Finance Executive

to join our Finance team at Birmingham Airport. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will manage insurance administration while also supporting financial processing and reconciliation. You'll work closely with insurers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure claims and insurance requirements are managed effectively, whilst contributing to the smooth running of financial operations.

Please note: Interviews will be held on Wednesday 1st October

Key Responsibilities:



Manage and process insurance claims, liaising with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders. Support recovery of costs related to third-party incidents through investigation and communication. Provide advice on insurance matters across the business, ensuring compliance and risk awareness. Co-ordinate the annual insurance renewal process and maintain the Motor Insurance Database. Reconcile and process aviation charges, billing airlines and concessions accurately and on time. Assist with procurement and contract processes by reviewing insurance requirements.

Experience Required:



Previous experience handling insurance claims or working in a corporate insurance environment. Strong understanding of insurance markets, claims processes, and risk assessment principles. Proven experience in financial processing, reconciliations, or administration. Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and finance systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organisational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders professionally.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 38,000.00-40,000.00 per year
