The Vacancy
We are seeking to appoint 2 part time insurance officers to join our recently reviewed Insurance Team.
The contracted hours are 22 hours per week, but we are flexible on which days these hours are provided.
Working as part of a highly skilled and supportive team, the successful candidates' main role will be to ensure that claims received across the full range of council services are resolved promptly. This will include logging claims with our insurers and working with departments across the council to obtain information relating to the claims.
With support from the senior insurance officer, these claims will be monitored through set processes until they are concluded. Established processes are in place and full training will be provided.
