:
Responsible for sourcing and maintaining relationships with Dairy farms throughout NI, to develop, grow and progress our integrated supply chains . The role will require travel throughout Northern Ireland, working off your own initiative, working as part of a team and keeping and maintaining accurate records.

Hours: Core Hours Monday-Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

Reporting to
Reporting to: Integrated Livestock Manager
The role:

• Source Dairy Farms for Integrated supply chains

• Manage and maintain relationships with the Dairy farms

• Manage and maintain an inventory of Integrated genetics

• Monitor and record inseminations, pregnancies and births on farm

• Organise collection of calves from Dairy farm for delivery to specified rearing units

• Manage integrated requirements on each dairy farm in terms of birth weights, tagging, calf price and Farm contracts.

• Ensure minimum calf birth requirements annually.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong Agricultural background with working knowledge of the Dairy and Beef supply chains

• Level 3 apprenticeship/Diploma in Agriculture

• Strong IT skills and working knowledge of all the Microsoft applications

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail

• Self-driven and an ability to work on own initiative

• Proactive approach to problem solving

• Clean driving license and access to own vehicle

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (Not essential)

• Previous experience with Integrated supply chains

Previous Dairy farm experience
