Project & Assurance Support:
Maintain and update key documentation including the Assurance Tracker, lessons learned database, and team SharePoint sites
Coordinate the review and logging of Contractor Work Package Plans, RAMS, and Authority to Work processes
Assist with impact assessments, communication plans, and the handover of projects into business-as-usual operations
Monitor compliance with internal contractor management processes and health and safety standards
Team & Administrative Coordination:
Raise and manage purchase orders, monitor budgets, and support invoice processing
Produce key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data analysis for project tracking
Deputise for the Business Integration Manager and support the wider team when needed
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with project teams, contractors, and internal departments to keep everyone informed and aligned
Share project updates via internal communications channels, including SharePoint and meetings
Support feedback collection and continuous improvement activities across projects
We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and confident communicating across all levels of the business. You'll enjoy solving problems, keeping systems in order, and being part of a supportive, fast-moving environment where no two days are quite the same.
You should be comfortable working with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and ideally have experience with procurement systems, construction projects, or property assurance processes. Experience in a railway or infrastructure environment is desirable but not essential.
In return we offer:
Excellent Railway Pension Scheme
Free Standard Class Leisure travel on East Midlands Railway and partner train operating companies
First Class Duty Travel on East Midlands Railway
Friends and Family discounted tickets on the EMR network
75% discount on national rail travel (including for your partner and dependants)
