We are seeking experienced IAR Surveyors and SBT Technicians for a permanent staff role based in Aberdeen.

Please note:

there is no fixed rota - mobilisations and trip durations vary according to client and operational requirements. This role offers flexibility and exposure to diverse offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, assemble, and test fluid hose systems to Hydrasun and client specifications. Promote Hydrasun services during client interactions. Work offshore on 12-hour shifts (day/night) following project engineer instructions. Complete pre- and post-mobilisation briefs at Aberdeen office. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with HSEQ standards. Act as customer focal point and mentor junior surveyors.

Essential Experience & Competencies

Offshore experience in inspection, assembly and testing of hose and/or tubing systems. Technical/engineering/workshop background is essential. Valid offshore certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong focus on safety, timekeeping, and adherence to process. Computer literacy (Word, Excel). Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

BFPA or OPITO Fluid Hose qualifications (FHA Tech). TSBT01 & 02 (03 & 04 desirable) for SBT Tech. Hose inspection and pressure testing experience. ONC/HNC/HND in engineering.

Experience:
