As an Interaction Designer within our Product & Service Design function in CQC you will:
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the creation and maintenance of CQC's provider and public facing services. You will work across the whole service and product development lifecycle designing services and products for health and social care providers, CQC staff and for the public to use.
Collaborate with other roles to understand user needs and organisation outcomes and work out the best way to let users interact with the products that support CQC's services.
Create intuitive, engaging, consistent and accessible designs using industry standard tools and techniques, and maintain our Design Library, and share best practices across the Product & Service Design function.

What you will bring...
As an Interaction Designer at the CQC you will:
Be qualified in interaction design or can demonstrate appropriate work-based experience in interaction design.
You will have significant experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams across the whole service and product development lifecycle and collaborating with key roles such as user researchers, business analysts, product managers, content designers, etc.
You will work with others to understand user needs and business requirements, you will use your design skills and experience to align these to the product design, and use prototyping to test early designs.
You will have experience working in a regulatory or similar environment and understand the complexities that this brings, and how your product designs need to translate a complex situation into a simple user journey.
Please be aware the assessment will comprise of a presentation and competency-based interview questions. If you are successful at shortlisting, you will be invited to an interview and provided instructions regarding the presentation at least 5 working days ahead of time. You will be required to submit the presentation prior to the interview and then present this during the interview to the panel.
