Overview

Job Title: Interim Care Home Manager
4 6month contract with possibility to extend based on performance
Salary:
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire Bridlington YO15 3NS - Glenfields Care Home Ltd

We have an excellent opportunity to support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in the day to day operation of the service and deputise in their absence. You will be responsible in leading the care team ensuring that a safe, effective, and efficient care service is maintained which meets the needs of all residents.

To be considered for this great opportunity, you will have the following skills and experience as outlined below.

Experience / Skills:

Experience within a similar role, or managing a team 1 year min (Required) Leads with compassion, kindness, and champions the very best care of residents. Experienced in developing care plans and auditing. Proven experience supervising and supporting Care staff. Communicate professionally with visitors including family and friends. Experienced with electronic care plans and medication delivery. Previous experience in Health & Social Care, preferably as a Team Leader or Care Manager NVQ Level 5 (or Level 4 and willing to work towards 5) Exceptional people management and communication skills Experience of CQC and compliance Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and develop teams
In addition, it is highly beneficial, that you can demonstrate the below.

Excellent time management, delegation and organisational skills executed effectively under Exceptional listening and communication skills, with compassion and empathy. Act as a positive role model to inspire all colleagues to provide the best care. Able to identify opportunities to build and maintain relationships within the community.

Role Requirements:



Ensure policies and procedures are always followed by the whole team Provide reports to the Directors on the business as required Ensure the provision of care meets the needs of the clients Ensure all training is monitored and recorded Manage staff performance, including staff appraisals, regular supervisory meetings and spot checks Take an active part in on call responsibilities Liaise with Clients and other care professionals to ensure their ongoing needs are met Maintain accurate records and files of care workers and Clients Full UK driving licence
