The Directors of Exceed Learning Partnership and Governors of Carr Lodge Academy are looking to appoint an experienced Interim Catering Manager to lead our catering services and play a vital role in our pupils' well-being

Carr Lodge Academy is part of Exceed Learning Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust that currently comprises of 9 Academies, Bentley High Street Primary School, Carr Lodge Academy, Edlington Victoria Academy, Hall Cross Academy, Hill Top Academy, Rosedale Primary School, Sandringham Primary School, Sheep Dip Lane Academy, and Willow Primary School

You will be responsible for the overall management of the school's catering provision, ensuring the service operates efficiently, meets budget requirements, and provides a varied menu that promotes healthy eating among our primary-aged children.

Menu Planning:

Develop, cost, and implement seasonal and appealing menus that comply with School Food Standards and cater to all dietary needs (allergies, intolerances, cultural requirements).

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate the kitchen staff team.

Budget Management:

Oversee all ordering, stock control, and financial aspects of the catering service to meet agreed-upon budgets.

Pupil Engagement

: Work with school staff to promote healthy eating and make lunchtime an enjoyable experience for all children.

Administration:

Manage necessary paperwork, records, and communication with the Head Teacher and school administration

Health & Safety:

Ensure strict adherence to all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP), maintaining a 5-star hygiene rating.
