Job Description
This Interim CFO role in London offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a respected organisation within the charity sector. The position requires a strategic financial leader to oversee the finance and fundraising team.
- Lead and manage the organisation's finance and fundraising teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior leadership.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Provide assurance to the team by bringing different strands of the business together (endowments, fundraising and finance)
- Encourage the team with ensuring system updates continue
A successful Interim CFO should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial leadership, ideally within the charity sector or within investment banking
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
- Excellent skills in financial planning, analysis, and problem-solving.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to improving financial processes and systems.
- Experience in managing teams and mentoring finance professionals.
- Competitive daily rate of approximately 800 per day (via umbrella co)
