A successful Interim Director of Accounting should have:

Proven expertise in accounting and finance, particularly within a large group or centralised finance function.
Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience in managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
