Interim Financial Controller
Job Description
Robert Half is currently working in partnership with a leading business services organisation based in Birmingham - looking for Interim Financial Controller.
This role will take responsibility for the daily management of the Finance Team whilst driving business performance and profitability as well as looking at their Financial controls in its entirety.
Once in seat, the candidate will compile and drive through a list of projects to improve process but also offer very technical knowledge and advice based on tight regulations and procedures.
Up to \xc2\xa3450-600 per day 6 months
Further Duties and Responsibilities
- An effective no2 to the Finance Director
- Reporting requirements in the US & UK GAAP and SOX Controls
- Month end reporting/close
- MI Reporting
- Offer specific Tax knowledge - involving VAT Returns and Customs
- Cashflow forecasting
- Standardised costing
Our client is a market leader in their field and with increased workload and change in structure and they are looking for someone strong with a good background in manufacturing as well as being highly technical accountant.
What are we looking for?
- A qualified accountant having operated at Controller level
- Take a hands on approach with the team
- A background of Technical knowledge - US & UK GAAP, SOX Controls and Taxation
- Excel and system led experience - experience in SAP would be useful
- Advanced in Excel - dealing with large data sets
