Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a fast paced environment for an exciting business in Newcastle. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and financial standards.
- Oversee all financial reporting and accounting operations within the organisation.
- Improvement systems and accounting practises
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and present financial statements and management accounts.
- Manage cash flow and forecast financial performance.
- Support the budgeting process and provide financial insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
- Identify process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and guide the finance team to achieve operational goals.
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Experience in managing and developing finance teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - excel
- The ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools
- Competitive daily rate between 405 and 495.
- Exposure to a professional and collaborative work environment.
