Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interim IT Procurement Manager to oversee and manage procurement activities within the public sector. This interim role focuses on delivering successful procurement outcomes for IT and digital projects.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT and digital projects.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure the delivery of value and quality.
- Coordinate tendering processes for IT and digital services or products.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
- Provide regular reports on procurement performance and progress.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers.
A successful Interim IT Procurement Manager:
- Proven expertise in IT and digital procurement within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and regulations.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
- Ability to analyse and identify cost-saving opportunities effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Capability to deliver results in a fast-paced, temporary role.
- Daily rate of 400 - 550
- Based in Tooting.
- 6 month contract.
- Immediate start.
