Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join a Not For Profit organisation in Bolton. This temporary position involves providing essential financial support and ensuring accurate reporting within the Accounting & Finance department.
As an interim Management Accountant duties will include but are not limited to,
- Prepare and analyse management accounts to support decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with policies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Preparing budgets and forecasting processes
- Variance analysis
- Partnering with department heads and senior management to help offer financial insights
- Accruals, prepayments
A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance, or be Qualified by Experience
- Worked in a Management Accountant role previously
- Excellent Excel Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Competitive salary of between 50,000-55,000 equivalent on a daily rate basis
- Bolton Based
- Interim 3-6 month role opportunity
- Immediate Start
- Ideally to be based on site full time but there is some flexibility and 1 day a week at home is an option if required
