Role Definition
Responsible for providing efficient administrative support to the HR team with a key focus on recruitment, induction and retention of new starters into the business. Provide recruitment and other HR support during a large recruitment drive.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the full recruitment cycle including, sifting through CV's, shortlisting, booking interviews, generating offer packs, conducting reference requests etc
Expected to work as part of the HR team to provide a strong service to all employees
Main point of contact for all new starts entering the business
Support with interviews to establish the best candidates
Gathering Right to Work documents and keeping appropriate records for compliance
Attend job Centre and job fairs to attract candidates
Use of our ATS to gather CV's and post job adverts on various job boards
Building relationships with candidates and maintain timely and effective communication, contributing to a positive candidate experience
providing all new starts with induction and welcome to the business
Use of HR system Success Factors to enter new starts and ensuring details are kept up to date and accurate
Ensuring new staff are provided log in's for HR system
Request for any IT needed for new starts including equipment and emails
Creation of access passes and maintaining of TMS system with new starts and leavers
Effective communication with hiring managers and any relevant colleagues regarding new starts and leavers
Maintenance of review meetings ensuring management follow the appropriate onboarding process
Ensure compliance in terms of modern slavery
Work closely with payroll to ensure information on new starts are provided in a timely manner
Update communication boards and TV's where needed
Maintain high levels of compliance in employee files both physical and electronic
Note taking at meetings where required
Provide any needed support to HR department
To carry out all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with regards to Health and Safety and Food Safety at all times
Remain confidential on sensitive information at all times
Any other duties as required
Person Specification
The role is suited to someone who has strong and accurate admin skills as well as having fantastic people skills. The ideal candidate should ideally have some experience working with people in a similar customer facing role
CIPD qualification would be of benefit but not essential
excellent telephone manner and good interpersonal skills
fully competent in Microsoft Office applications such as word and excel
A strong work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
proactive, organized and excellent attention to detail
A team player with the ability to be self sufficient and using a collaborative approach to problem solving
Experience of working within a busy fast paced office environment
