As we continue to expand through acquisition and transformation, we're seeking an experienced Interim Tax Specialist / Consultant to support our group-wide tax compliance and strategic tax transformation projects.

This is a 6-month interim assignment, operating outside IR35, and offers the opportunity to play a key role in building and embedding new group tax structures, policies, and governance in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities





Design and implement greenfield tax policies and procedures across the group. Take ownership of corporate tax (CT), VAT, and employment tax oversight for all business units. Lead tax integration activities for newly acquired companies within the group. Advise on share scheme structuring, including put and call options, earn-outs, and growth shares. Prepare the group for Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance. Identify and resolve historic acquisition-related tax technical debt. Support on corporate structuring and transfer pricing matters. Manage tax audits and subsidiary risk assessments, ensuring compliance with the Criminal Finances Act. Provide subject matter expertise and assurance during tax transformation initiatives.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





A qualified tax professional (ACA / CTA / ACCA or equivalent). Proven experience in group or multi-entity tax advisory and compliance, ideally within a fast-growing or acquisitive organisation. Strong technical background in UK corporate tax, VAT, and employment tax. Experience leading or advising on tax integration and transformation projects. CIS and RDEC experience highly desirable. Exposure to international tax matters, particularly US (Massachusetts) and France, would be a bonus. Confident operating at senior stakeholder level, with the ability to balance strategic insight and hands-on delivery.
