Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced interior designer who will assist our customers in selecting their design wall design and coordinating with our admin and installation teams to schedule production and installation. This role would primarily be on the road, visiting customers around the Glasgow area. A vehicle will be provided along with training on our products.

Duties

Develop and present design concepts that align with client requirements and preferences. Create detailed drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding customer expectations. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on materials, colours, furnishings, and layouts. Conduct site visits to assess spaces and ensure designs are implemented correctly. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design offerings. Assist on presenting future products which we can sell based on future trends.

Experience

Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role is essential. Proficiency in design software including CAD, 3ds Max, Sketchup. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate various aspects of the design process. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. A portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates creativity and technical skills is highly desirable. A relevant degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates with significant experience.
