Job Description

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES



We are seeking a motivated and creative Graduate/Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team in Manchester. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for interior architecture, spatial design, and detailing. You will support the design team in delivering innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling interiors across a variety of projects.


Assist in the preparation of design concepts & presentations. Support senior designers in developing interior layouts, material specifications, and furniture schedules. Contribute to 2D drawings, 3D models, and rendered visuals for client presentations. Research materials, finishes, furniture, and fittings to support design decisions. Help coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Maintain and update project documentation in line with office standards. Attend site visits, surveys, and design reviews under the guidance of senior staff. Stay informed on design trends, sustainability standards, and innovations in interior architecture.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS




Proficiency in design and drafting software required with knowledge of Revit, in particular, an advantage. Proficiency in Visualisation software (e.g. Enscape, SketchUp) Proficiency in InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite) required Strong eye for detail, colour, and materiality. Ability to produce creative sample presentations. Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
