We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented workplace Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong ability to transform work places into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. You will be responsible for managing design projects from conception through to completion, ensuring that client expectations are met while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines.
Duties
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects.
Develop design concepts and present them to clients using visual aids such as sketches, mood boards, and 3D models.
Use the following software tools AutoCAD, sketch up, Microsoft suite , PowerPoint to create detailed designs and layouts.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of design plans.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions in design.
Qualifications
Proficiency in project management skills to oversee the entire design process effectively.
Strong knowledge of design software including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,) and Sketchup.
Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas clearly to clients and team members.
A keen eye for aesthetics and details with a strong understanding of colour theory and spatial arrangements.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently when required.
A relevant degree or qualification in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
