Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Interiors Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring efficient workflow, and adhering to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in mechanical processes and hands-on work within a dynamic environment.

Main Objective

Manufacture of roller and venetian blinds. Working in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines. Assist with Installation of Blinds and Curtains.
Key Tasks

Blind Component preparation, working from the make-up request form, including cutting roller components and fabrics to correct sizes Complete production of blinds as detailed on make-up sheet to exact customer measurements Pack and store finished product in correct bay for installation team Pick and Prep the installers work for the next day Assist with Blind and Curtain installations Carry out any other reasonable request as and when required to maintain output within the Interiors department Good communication skills, respectful attitude towards all employees
The Person

Experienced blind maker that is used to working in a similar role working with daily deadlines Experienced in using circular saw, roller making table, stock control and installation preparation. Be tidy, organised and able to work accurately and to a high standard Be flexible in approach and working time to meet deadlines and workload Be able to keep the workroom tidy at all times
This position provides valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, ideal for individuals eager to develop their technical skills within the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 22,000.00-27,000.00 per year
