Job Summary
You will
drive revenue growth by directly supporting the Managing Director and the wider business to achieve our collective goals.
As an Internal Account Manager, you will be the key point of contact for our designated dealers, building strong relationships and actively developing new business.
You'll manage the entire sales cycle--from generating new leads to securing orders--by leveraging digital and telephonic communication. This is a proactive, remote role where you will coordinate internal resources and support dealer efforts to bring opportunities to a close.
Key Responsibilities: Your Day-to-Day
Sales & Business Development:
Proactively
contact dealers by phone and email
to nurture relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
Generate new business
by identifying and onboarding new dealers.
Prepare and send quotes
for incoming sales inquiries, both via email and phone.
Upsell and cross-sell
our full range of products to existing dealers.
Manage and chase live opportunities
, ensuring a smooth path to order placement.
Offer and arrange sample products
for prospective dealers, sales opportunities, or showroom use.
Strategic Support:
Act as a
Personal Assistant to the Managing Director
, including
arranging and booking meetings
and other administrative tasks.
Keep the
CRM and Inventory Database meticulously up to date
with all sales contacts, sales activity and opportunities.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and valuable market insights to the Managing Director to help inform business strategy.

Like to have but not essential: Track record in generating new business within a B2B sales environment for a minimum of 1 year.
Specific Responsibilities
Achieve financial sales targets by nurturing robust and mutually beneficial relationships with designated dealers, providing day-to-day problem-solving solutions, and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Serve as the primary commercial contact for your designated dealers at all levels, owning the ongoing day-to-day relationship.
Identify and create new sales opportunities for Hood Seating and our dealers within the UK. This includes managing the process for product applications, specials, mock-ups, and pricing agreements (SPAs) on projects.
Collaborate with Hood Seating's business development efforts by identifying opportunities for larger accounts (e.g., National Accounts, Major Project Groups, A&D community) and working alongside relevant internal teams as required.
Provide essential technical and specification support to dealers, collaborating with our product and design teams when necessary.
Consistently promote Hood Seating's products and services, always acting in the best interests of the company to meet and exceed individual sales volume targets.
Achieve key activity goals, particularly the required number of monthly dealer and client engagements via calls and virtual meetings.
Maintain the highest quality of presentation in all communications, whether verbal or written, striving for "best-in-class" standards from both Hood Seating and our dealer partners.
Develop an understanding of our product range and programs to effectively articulate Hood Seating's unique differentiators and competitive advantages.
Cultivate an understanding of the office furniture & workspace design market.
Provide accurate and timely reports to the Managing Director and ensure our CRM system (e.g., Prospectsoft) is consistently updated and utilised to its full potential for all opportunities and forecasts.
