As we continue expanding our sales team, we are looking for an
Internal Account Manager
to support our field sales reps, develop customers, manage quotations, and keep our fast-paced operation running smoothly.
This is a key commercial role at the heart of the business.
The Role
As an Internal Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
Handling inbound enquiries, quotes and orders
Proactively following up on quotations to secure business
Cross-selling and identifying new product opportunities
Working closely with External Sales Reps to support their territories
Keeping CRM and pricing information up to date
Maintaining excellent customer relationships and service levels
Helping onboard new customers and ensuring smooth order flow
Liaising with suppliers to source products and check availability
Your mission:
Keep customers happy, grow their spend, and support the sales team to win more business.
Who We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience in a customer service, sales support or internal sales role
Confident communicator (phone and email)
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Comfortable following processes and using systems (CRM/ERP)
Positive attitude and strong team player
Desirable:
Experience in industrial supplies, PPE, workwear, tools, engineering supply or distribution
Knowledge of Business Central or other ERP systems
Previous Internal Sales / Account Management experience
Ability to work closely with field reps in a fast-moving commercial environment
