We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Account Manager to join our growing team and help us deliver exceptional service and value to our customers.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring smooth order processing, proactive communication, and strong cross-departmental collaboration. You will be the go-to person for your customers, supporting their needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships within your customer portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact and building strong rapport through regular communication, attentiveness, and a clear understanding of individual customer needs. You'll take ownership of the full sales order process, ensuring orders are accurately processed and fulfilled on time. This includes managing delivery arrangements, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating stock requirements with our warehouse team to ensure smooth logistics and customer satisfaction.
A key part of the role involves managing artwork projects and developing detailed product specifications in collaboration with customers and other external stakeholders, ensuring that all requirements are delivered accurately and professionally.
You will also be required to ensure compliance with customer agreements and identify opportunities for improvement.
In addition, you will support wider strategic projects and contribute to ongoing process improvements across the business, bringing forward ideas that enhance efficiency, service quality, and overall customer engagement.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an internal account management or similar customer-facing role (essential).
Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
A collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail and a professional, friendly telephone manner.
Confidence in using CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
