We are looking for someone to join us as an Internal Auditor, where you will work closely with Wilson James business areas to provide proactive and professional internal audit and quality assurance. A core element of this role is to protect, uphold and enhance Wilson James' reputation.



You will ensure that scheduled audits are carried out to assure compliance to the applicable standards to which Wilson James is approved and will work with our colleagues as a value enabler to delivery, helping to make it simple to do things right. This role will also be passionate about continuous improvement and will support the Business Improvement projects.

What you'll be doing:

Building good working relationships with teams and helping them stay compliant Planning and running internal audits, reporting findings, and supporting issue closure Carrying out supplier audits (labour providers, waste contractors, other key suppliers) and sharing reports Organising and hosting external audits Assisting the Head of Internal Audit & Assurance with client and supplier paperwork, tenders, and contracts Supporting improvement projects and working with Wilson James Assurers to enhance processes and track progress

What we are looking for:

Good IT Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook Good organisational skills with accompanying attention to detail Ability to interact effectively with internal staff at all levels Good communicator with people at all levels of the business and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues at sites visited Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability Experience in a large company as an Internal Auditor (not essential full training will be given) IRCA ISO9001 Internal Auditor Qualification (ideal but not essential)
