We are seeking a talented communications professional for this Internal Communications and Engagement Lead role, with experience in campaign planning, delivery, and reporting to join our Internal Communications Campaigns unit. This is a permanent role which can be based in London, Salford or Birmingham and with some flexibility, i.e. hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities

As the Internal Communications and Engagement Campaigns Lead, reporting to the Internal Communications Campaigns Business Partner, you\'ll work as part of a team to oversee the planning, delivery, measurement and reporting of our internal campaigns to support the business deliver on key strategic objectives such as impartiality, our headline content moments, and our employee value proposition. You\'ll partner with all areas of the internal communications team, as well as manage relationships with key company stakeholders, such as counterparts in our Brand Communications team, as well as work with key internal company subject matter experts. You\'ll also manage relationships with third parties to deliver creative, engaging campaigns across a breadth of content - events - for BBC staff.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven experience of delivering high impact employee engagement communications - including campaigns and events - to drive understanding, sentiment, and behaviour;
  • Proven experience of leading change and transformation communications
  • Ability to investigate, analyse and contextualise complex issues, presenting them in an engaging and impactful way to colleagues
  • Proven experience of an insight driven approach and best practice measurement techniques
  • Proven experience of developing a high performing team
  • A first class creative approach and appreciation of outstanding communications techniques both internal and external
  • Outstanding planning skills and the ability to oversee multiple high profile and demanding projects simultaneously
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good technical knowledge to deliver audio-visual graphic and online communications materials, including website, intranet, print, film, digital and social media
