Job Description


Working closely with the HR team, The Internal Communications manager is responsible for the full spectrum of internal communications for UK and Central Platforms. Your primary focus will be creating and implementing an integrated internal communications strategy that supports business ambitions, the delivery of our strategic priorities and an engaged, motivated workforce.

The remit is broad, with accountability to ensure all internal communications land effectively and that Central team and UK teams are proactively communicated to with insightful, engaging and action-orientated communications. They will also work with leaders to provide any external communications support required i.e. social media, website and media relations.

How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Make an Impact

  • Building and implementing an internal communications strategy across the Arrow Centre including Manchester, London Jersey, Luxembourg, New York and our UK platforms DFS, Bergen, Eagle Street and Maslow.
  • Ensure Strategic Priorities, M&A/Divestment/Senior Appointment announcements and Company Results are understood and have high levels of advocacy and commitment.
  • Develop and lead the Workplace by Facebook communication and colleague engagement strategy and management of the Workplace group pages.
  • Lead the development of internal communications working closely with the leadership team, functional leadership and HR teams. Including but not limited to Engagement, ESG and D,E&I workstreams.
  • Create an effective narrative and build the internal Arrow Global story.
  • Designing and delivering internal campaigns to drive Employer Brand related communications and initiatives.
  • Support the development of Arrow brand materials for talent attraction, onboarding and retention.
  • Support the Director of PR and Communications for group quarterly results; particularly the internal message cascade to various audiences.
  • Managing and responding to corporate communication related issues.
  • Provide Public relations, media and stakeholder management for the Centre when required.
Expertise
  • Extensive experience working in communications at a high level within a complex organisation, preferably within professional, financial services or fund/asset management.
  • Fully conversant with brand communications and development; internal comms and employer branding.
  • Experienced in developing a communication agenda across Engagement, ESG and D,E&I.
  • Self-starter able to operate at strategic and operational levels.
  • Ability to advise and influence leaders on communication positioning and key messages.
  • Experience drafting a range of communication materials and advising on their delivery.
  • Strong planning skills with a progressive, can-do mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Financially literate and commercially minded.
  • Able to create the language and narrative for a professional services / asset management business experiencing growth and change.
  • Experience of working in digital communications.
  • Experience of working in FS, preferably asset management.
